About SuperBrowse

Our SuperBrowse pages are designed to enable fast visual browsing of interesting eBay auctions in specific collecting areas.

Got suggestions for improving SuperBrowse? Let us know here.

The Basics:

  • What's Included: Only auctions with at least one bid are included, and only a subset of eBay auctions in any given category is shown, based on special filtering criteria we've developed (see below).
  • Auction Specifics: Mouse over an image to see the title, end time, and bid information for that auction. This information is updated no more than hourly, so be sure to visit the actual eBay page for current data. End times shown are rounded to the nearest minute, so do not rely on them for bidding purposes.
  • Current vs. Completed: The default SuperBrowse view shows current auctions, but by using the 'Status' pulldown menu you can browse up to one week's worth of completed auctions.
  • Highest Bid vs. Ending Soonest vs. Added Today: You can display the SuperBrowse listings by Highest Bid (the default setting, shows the auctions from highest bid to lowest), Ending Soonest (shows by date/time), or Added Today (shows only items added to our system in the past 24 hours). Use the 'Sort' pulldown menu to change the view.
  • Keyword Filters: On the left we provide a series of keywords to further refine what you see in SuperBrowse, based on the most common or interesting title keywords in each collecting area. The keywords are sorted based on how many of the current auction titles they match. To see them in alphabetical order, use the pulldown menu.

Please Also Note:

  • Selection criteria: We use customized searches to yield the most relevant eBay (U.S.) listings within a category. We don't manually screen each listing, so irrelevant listings may slip in. Our searches may also miss some relevant items.
  • Update frequency: We update the listings several times a day, but bids shown are not up to the minute. For the latest, click on a listing to go directly to the actual eBay auction.
  • Caveat emptor: We provide these listings as a convenience, but do not endorse, vouch for, or have any control over the items or sellers or content in these auctions (see our Terms of Use). We don't screen for fraudulent listings; you should be mindful of potential fraud on eBay and follow eBay's tips for buying and avoiding fraud.
