Famous for his dynamite nature on and off the field, Ty Cobb was drafted at 19 by the Detroit Tigers, where he established himself as one of the best baserunners the game has ever seen. Among other things, he became known for his aggressive techniques including low slides, bowling fielders over, and 'unintentionally' spiking people with his signature metal cleats.
