The first Coca-Cola calendars were issued in the early 1890s, and mostly portrayed women (both movie stars and anonymous models), Coke bottles, and timely human interest subjects like wartime mobilization or groups of teenagers. Paintings, photographs and illustrations were all used over the years; as with all paper collectibles, many of the earliest examples have perished.
