These seats were made from the mid 1860's to the very early 1900's. After the early 1900's The "tin" seat came into existance and became attached to a spring that softened the ride. Most names go with a implement manufacturer but names sometimes were of the selling agency. I painted all these myself as repainting is desired and not frowned upon in the hobby as 99 & 9/10% of the time rust has removed any remnants of original paint. I have found them everywhere from auctions to farm yards and have had many leads from friends.
Nice collection! I don't think I have ever seen these in Florida.
