Scott Tichenor's 8-week Music of Turlough O'Carolan

Other information:
 We'll brush up on basic mandolin lead playing and chord form basics using the music or Irish composer Turlough O'Carolan. We'll cover approximately 2-3 tunes per session in standard notation and tablature with lots of review of previously covered pieces each week. Be prepared to play a lot of music in a group ensemble. One focus of the class is using fuller lead lines to expand your musical vocabulary and make your playing more interesting. Upon completion of the course you will have nice collection of music and a better understanding of the mandolin.

This event is a seminar or lecture and expects 1-20 people.
