Since this gathering is not in conjunction with an Antique Show we encourage all to bring items for sale! WE WILL HAVE NUMEROUS DEALERS SELLING GLASS so in other words WE WILL CREATE OUR OWN BUYING/SELLING EVENT. The cost to have a table with cloth is $30.00 and displays will fill the ballroom; after the ballroom is full you may sell from your room – the table cost will still be $30.00 and tables are to be reserved in advance. We will be advertising in local magazines (which ones provided by the local antique dealers). The collectors from the area will be invited to attend. Each magazine will do a feature story on our gathering. The local dealers and area collectors will be invited to the seminars and to purchase glass.
We shall have a program on Phoenix glass, How to photograph glass, Pass the Preserves (how EAPG was used), Central Glass -- more to come. Phyllis Petcoff would love to hear from you if you have presented for a group in your area – those of us from another part of the country would love to hear it! PLEASE LET US HEAR FROM YOU.
Tours will be arranged for us to view several plantations and as a result have a firsthand experience of the famed foliage of Natchez. Our convention is planned for the first weekend following the Natchez Pilgrimage! We should have the historic experience of the season without the crowds and prices!
