Chinese Numismatics in Research offers a comprehensive look at the history of Chinese coins and paper money, from ancient times to the present day. To help users navigate the thousands of years of Chinese history, the site includes a useful chronology of dynasties. Every coin on the site—there are hundreds—is accompanied by a detailed description and two high-quality photographs (one for each side of the coin), along with the coin’s diameter, weight, and degree of rarity. Paper money receives the same careful treatment, and the site also includes items from Tibet and Hong Kong.
