Hidden within this academic-looking research tool is an unbelievable database of almost 18,000 images of medieval stained glass windows in English churches and other monuments. Part of the international CVMA stained glass research consortium founded in 1949, this British website is a project of the British Academy. To see the images, click on 'Picture Archive' and then 'I agree' (to the terms and conditions... believe us, its worth it). Then click on County Index or Location Index, and away you go... you will be amazed!
