The MZTV Museum of Television
This incredible website by the MZTV Museum of Television (based in Canada) is an interactive playground of television history. Permanent exhibits include a television timeline and explorations on the 1939 World's Fair, Marilyn Monroe's involvement with television, and the inventors whose innovations made television possible. However, the most amazing (and addictive) part of this website is the exhibition featuring the museum's collection. Select one of seven antique or vintage televisions, and then use your mouse to turn it around and view it from all angles - you can even open cabinet doors! - while a woman's voice tells you all about the history, design, and other interesting facts for each model.
