Most film stills and photos from movie sets were intended as publicity photos, often displayed in theater lobbies or printed in programs. Photos of actors or behind the scenes work were typically printed on glossy 8 by 10 inch or 9 by 7 inch paper. Lucky collectors may even find them signed, as they were often given out at events and openings where the actors were present.
