About Antique Stromberg Carlson Radios

Founded in 1894 to manufacture telephones, the Rochester, New York based Stromberg-Carlson Company also began making radio components, and by 1923, their own radio sets. During WW2 they halted civilian production and made military field radio kits. After the war, Stromberg-Carlson refocused on the telephone business.
