    Does anyone know if this pocket watch is old? On the face it says Columbia U.S.A. On the inside it says Columbia U.S.A and AG367830 and it says F-S. It has a gold color to it but I doubt that it is gold plated or anything.

      Columbia Watch Company, 1896-1899 Waltham, Massachusetts. Made lower end (mostly) ladies movements; became the Suffolk Watch Company and later became part of the United States Watch Company of Waltham.

      Hello Jonah812, first Thanks for that coplement, :-).That serial # is on the casing, Right?
      Those serial #'s have a meaning as to whom the casing was made by, but doesn't have bearing on the timepiece itself. movement serial #'s are how most watches are ID. The inside cover , between the case outer and the movement appears to have some markings on it, can't make it out in photo. If it says something like "20 or 25 year " it pertains to the warranty on plating and tells basically how thick the plating is. If you read what it says and post in comments, I'll try to translate it's meaning.
