I love this beautiful piece. I got it from a friend of mine. I love the design and details. The necklace is long and I do like wearing with just about any color top. I am not sure about the original for sure, but it reminds me of something from Mid-East.

Look and compare details with my Hunza valley (Pakistan) cuffbracelet. Look at the pattern and the setting of the stone, I think your necklace originates from the same very beautiful area. With my phone I can only get the photo of my post as a link, very enoying. But you can find my post in my collection 'ethnik jewelry' and read the information I've posted. I'm 100% sure of the origin of my bracelet as my friend bought it on sight and she's from Pakistan and knows the area.

If you're interested you can search for photos on line for 'hunza valley' and you will see the most breathtaking photos! If you Google for jewelry from that area you will want more :)...
    Love your necklace!

I agree... I think this necklace is from the same region too.

I found this so you can never be sure of origin if you don't know where your actuall piece is from I guess. See what they write about the triangular dotted pattern...Kazakstan. But I have reseached some (lightly) and found some info that sais the Hunza people have some siberian heritage so I guess it could be from both regions. I mean influence can be seen in jewelry from different areas. My friend also brought back lapiz jewelry which is also typical of the hunza valley and Pakistan...

Elisabethan, thank you... Interesting information about the triangles. I think it's hard to pin point the location too.
