I purchased this trunk at the Goodwill for $20. I absolutely love it. It's obviously very old and I would like to know more about it.
Length: 28"
Depth: 16.75"
Height: short 17.5" tall 19.5"

Beautiful & Great deal
Looks like an 1870's -80's dome top trunk. Probably originally covered in paper, if you look close around the edges you may be able to spot some original material.(may also have been leather covered -- thus the red hue, however I notice the slats are also reddish which leads me to believe it was all stained this colour) Someone did a nice job of refinishing it. It once had leather straps over the cover. Lovely piece -- thanks for showing it to us and welcome to CW! (great deal)
