    I purchased a bag of costume jewelry this weekend and this Cameo was amongst the jewelry. I had come across a Silver Cameo this spring but this one is marked 750 (can barely make it out) and is carved in a shell. The Art work is fabulous and depicts a young girl with a flower. It measures 2 1/4" by 1 5/8" wide and can be worn on a chain. Any idea on country of provenance or age. Thanks, RER(BOB)

      Bob, she was made in and around the 1960's or so. You can always tell by the carving, hairstyle and nose. The newer ones all have a pointy nose....LOL :0
