This is a large mortar and pestle. the container is 15.4 lbs. and the other item is 3.96 lbs. I know it was made prior to 1900 and this is still located in Russia with my wifes mother. If anyone could give me more info about age and value I would be very greatful.
Do you see a seam on this, look very carefully, the maker would have polished it out but you can sometimes see them?? Dave
