    We bought this wood stove from a yard sale a few years ago. We even used it for a couple of seasons - no longer in need of it we are looking to have it priced.

    - We used it for wood (but it has been suggested that it should actually be used for coal?)
    - Inside door panel reads: SEARS ROEBUCK & CO. Chicago, ILL #641-84117

    We really don't know anything about it... so we are seeking knowledge....

    Thank you for your time!

      It was probably made 50's or 60's, low end stove. It was for burning wood not coal. If you can find a buyer you would need to give them change for a $100 bill.

      Hello;
      I believe we have the same stove - my mother in law bout it at a yard sale maybe 15 years ago. My hubby repaired the broken parts & had to have the base welded. We are going to sell it & i will comment how that goes.
