This ashtray, almost a jug for its size (12x12xaprox. 10) is one of the most amazing designs from the LAVA series.

What I like from this range is the fact of every item being completely different in colour and look to any other LAVA from the same design. Essentially Lava means handblown glass at its purest condition. I also like the name not only for its simmilarities with lava, but for the fact of solidified lava always gets whimsical shapes, and it's never the same.

I'll soon post teh rest of my LAVA collection, you'll be able to appreciate what I'm talking about here.

Haha, i didn't. Carlos doesn't like that kind of stuff (he got really sick once I ordered andouillettes -tripes sausages- in Paris) so i didn't even tried ordering it. We ate a lot of traditional pies (you know, rosemary lamb, lamb shank, chicken mushroom, smoked haddock... I totally love all of them!)

Thanks Fran! There is a smaller size (9x9x6) and I've got it too :)

The shape is great, but what i like the most from them is how the colour changes from one item to the other. Of course they were handmade.. or mouthblown :)
