Vintage plastic milk crate from Bareman's Dairy, Holland, Michigan. - The company was founded in 1898 in Holland, Michigan and produced a wide range of dairy products from whole to fat-free milk, flavored milks, juice, lemonade, and tea; also a variety of creams, cultured products, and ice cream products. The Bareman's Dairy products were distributed throughout the Great Lakes Region up until 2012 when the 114 year-old family-owned business was split between Illinois-based Prairie Farms Dairy and Meijer, Inc.. - Meijer, Inc. will use the plant to launch "Purple Cow Creamery" as a dairy products supplier to their mid-western stores. The crate held four gallon-size milk bottles and is orange with a black Bareman's name logo. - Manufactured - PMP / INC. - October, 1999
