This is a real oddball. I am leaning toward saying someone modified it along the way. From what little you can see of how it was built I am seeing different times and techniques. The stiles and rails say amateur handyman. The dovetails I can't see well but they appear to be well older than me. The end grain of the tenons makes me wonder why they are there. If they are stretchers they shouldn't show or perhaps there was originally something attached to them that got broken or snapped off. Guess I need to think about this and why the heck anyone would do it.

Oddball it is-- I'd call it "Franken furniture".

Parts look old, others look new. The wood drawer fronts don't match the rest of the front.

Some additional photos may yield clues. Can you add photos of the interior with two large doors open? Also a photo of the BACK of the drawer fronts will show how long the pulls/ latches have been on.

My best guess is that it is someones take on an oriental cabinet, made with old wood.

No need for additional pictures on my account. I just enlarged the pictures and changed the brightness and contrast. I will stick with my original thoughts with the exception of the dovetails. They are older but someone tried to rework the joints and ruined them. Really sloppy over cuts.
