Can you tell me what this style of flywire door (screen door that keeps flies/bugs out in warmer weather - usually wooden frame in days gone by) latch is called, and can they still be sourced? The one pictured is on the front flywire door of a rental house in Kyneton (central Victoria, south-east Australia). These were commonplace in Australia when I was a boy in the 1960s, but they seem to have just about vanished altogether. No ironmonger I've spoken to yet recalls them.
Who made them, what are they called, and do they still exist somewhere on the planet?
