I have a goat that looks exactly like the Steiff Navy Goats I see on-line altho' my guy has brown eyes instead of green and he has a red collar with a bell. He is missing his button and ID tag but I am nearly positive he is a Steiff. Can anyone help me identify him?
He's about 11" nose to tail tip and 12" foot to top of horn.
Looks like a steiff to me . Quality is all there . Not sure if blanket has a button I see something in corner of it ,but I was almost thinking it was added later by a owner ? very nice !
The blanket is part of the original. I've googled and seen others just like it. I just discovered, by accident, that he also has a squeaker in his belly. Would really love to I.D. this guy.
Unless proven otherwise he appears to be a steiff Naval acadamy Goat their Mascot . The blue is brighter than one's I saw on blanket but maybe yours did bot fade also had a paper label saying steiff on it .
