Here is a picture of my Hebdomas pocketwatch that I recently purchased.
I caused a revolution in those days because it was the first pocketwatch that could run up to 8 days on one winding while other pocketwatches should be wound up every day.
There even were manufacturers that made normal pocket watches which looked like the Hebdomas 8 days but must be wound up every day.
On the dial there was "facon a 8 jours" , wich means...looks like the 8 days pocketwatch.

This one's for real. They are pretty rare nowadays, even here in Europe.
I searched a long time to get one. Most of them are very very expensive. This one is not silver but gunmetal and was reasonable priced. Maybe it is more rare because it is a gunmetal watch. Most of them are silver or gold.
But I like this the way it is. I only placed a new glass in it and oiled it. It runs very good.

Hebdomas started production in 1888. Waltham produced eight day watches back in 1851... Here's a link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waltham_Watch_Company
