These were found over the last several years of hunting. 1939 to 1950s, all are original and impossible to find today. Many friends helped me find all the knives to match up with these displays. Most of these knives are referred to as shell handled knives because of the wrap of celluloid around a metal or tin shell and used to sell for around 30 cents new. These would've been in department and general stores back in the day. I love the celluloid colors! Most of these knives were made better than most pocket knives today. Imagine that!
