    AboundingO…

I used to collect cast iron match holders like this smaller one. This is the one that survived my illness. It's called a bean pot, stew pot, or hog renderer to some of you, but it's a witch cauldron...and that's how it's used...LOL

The larger one is also the proverbial Witch's Cauldron. 3 footed, and just the right size to cry Bubble-Bubble-Toil and Trouble over, as the brew rises, and the smoke fills the universes. This one was used by me to make a specialty metal for my daughters and mom's honoring of their positions in my life.

My fascination with these cauldrons comes naturally. Dad was a Shrine Clown, and once or twice a year they would butcher a pig at our place and render it edible in the large cauldron, over an open flame...plus, I like the "FORBIDDEN" of this earth...LOL

There's really no perfect place for an outside used item like these...they're part kitchen, but not so much; part tools, but not in the ordinary sense. These pots are more of a part of farm life way back when...and not so way back also. Still used today, these will be around for centuries past dead.

No matter my health or finances, these will remain with me, just as my OKAY Specific sign will.
