    I was gifted this doll by my mother. She didn't know much about it other than her father brought it back for her after he returned from WWii. She believes it came from New Guinea.

      Very nice . It is a homemade doll and most likely made by local women to earn money and sold on streets. It actually looks older than WWII . Nice post but one will never know who made it as it is not factory made . A Treasure to keep in family
