WONDERFUL FIND AT THE GOODWILL! VENETIAN RUBY GLASS VASE WITH HAND PAINTED ENAMEL ROMAN SCENE ALL THE WAY AROUND VASE. HAS ROMANS STRIPPED OF THERE UNIFORMS AND HANDS BOUND BEHIND THIER BACKS. HAS A SMALL CHILD AND A MAN SITTING IN A CHAIR (KING?). STANDS AT 8 IN. TALL AND 6 IN WIDE AT TOP. I THINK I MIGHT HAVE OVER PAID? $9.99..lol

Very nice! Items such as these tend to be given many attributions, but I think Salviati is the most likely in this case. It's not 100% definite, but that's where I would begin my research.
I just got off phone with a friend who used to do appraisal at Sotheby's, it is a Salviati piece enamel by Moser !! Good Eye Twentiethe! Thanks!!
You're welcome, and the Moser tie-in makes sense. Moser artists were loaned out to many companies, and also did commission works through Moser.

That would be an interesting post / thread. "Best" finds of the year. It would be hard to judge, but I would think rarity, condition, and purchase price would have to come into play.
Should certianly make for an interesting series of postings.
Just don't Tell Goodwill, they will raise the price on everything! lol
