I came across this JPS Lotus this last Winter and happy about the heritage of this particular manufacturer. It's a gem of a car, steerable front wheels, 1/32 scale. These were packaged with decals and fastened in cardboard graphic boxes with a white rubber band. The outer packaging was thin plastic, like clear cellophane. I decided to acquire more 'open wheel' classes of electric racing cars as I grew up in this era and weened on the classic moto sports film, Gran Prix with James Garner, Eve Montand, Eva Marie Saint and a host of other film greats such as Toshiro Mifume. Of course Steve McQueen in Le Mans and Bullitt. Wonderful period when this car was sold. The manufacturing still occurred in the Channel Islands between England and France on La Rue De Gombrette in St John. Other items of note is that "MRRC" stands for 'model road racing car'. How cool is that?
