This old building is located on Singleton Blvd in the Oak Cliff section of Dallas. This is the home where Clyde Barrow lived with his parents. I remember it operated as a fruit stand several years ago. The back part is arranged as a house and the front was set up for a store. I am sure lots of people drive by this house daily and have no clue of its' history.

I had an very old neighbor who actually knew Bonnie and Clyde from the neighborhood. He said they used to communicate with Clyde's family by putting a note in a bottle, and would throw the bottle toward this house as they sped by.

My neighbor said Bonnie was a sweet girl who just fell in with a rough crowd.

I dated Bonnie(Faye Dunnaway) as a kid. My older sister was dating her brother & our parents made us kids go with them so they stayed out of trouble. We were maybe 12-13 & I didn't even connect her to the movie until my sister mentioned it yrs later.

You shock me Val. I've got the big blunderbuss but I don't spin yarns. Her brother's name way Sonny & their father was a major as I remember. Military brats! I can't even bring up a mental image of what she looked like back then. This is easily believable & true. In my travels, I've known people I don't even mention to friends because I know they wouldn't believe it so why mention it. Some wouldn't want me to bring it up.

Hi BigTex. Cheryl Tiegs doesn't have a "bad-side". Linda Evans is more a real blonde than "Bo". Fact!
