Check out this beautiful solid wood chair. It has no markings so I cannot determine its manufacturer, model, or history. I just know that it is old and very beautiful. Any help you could provide in identifying its history would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Can we see a picture of the bottom. Thanks, Dave
I've added a pic of the bottom.
What I am looking is the board on the seat, The bar on bottom center and board look newer, patina is lighter than rest of chair. It also has holes that you can see underside. It seems that the chair bottom and center bracket underneath were later additions. I wonder if this was once a Victorian Chamber PottyChair? Dave
How could I confirm your theory?
Well, I would have to look at it up close. Let me look around to see if I can find a
nother chair like this. Dave
Thanks Dave
I just found a chair very similar to this one,but it has a fox carved into the back of it. Like this one it has no markings, can anyone help me out it's driving me nuts!
