EISENBACH-…
(24 items)

This clock was custom made by Johann Baptiste Beha in 1860 and modeled after the Pottsdam Cathedral in Berlin. Its just over 40" tall and carved from solid oak. Only 2 were made. It features a double fusee 8-day movement. and a near life-sized bird. the clock weighs about 55pounds, and its a stunning sight.

No Jeff, I haven't ventured into black forest, or cuckoo clocks yet. I do have one on my shelf awaiting its turn on my bench. My mentor warns me to expect twice as much going on in half the space, usually with light weights. Very challenging. :)
We don't collect wall clocks yet either. Old horse-hair plaster walls that we don't want to hang things on. You demonstrate some very nice restorative work too, btw.

Bruce as been an inspiration of knowledge for me for some time now, and hopefully I'll learn a thing or two from you as time progresses . Love all of these fine examples and enjoyed seeing them. I do have some "Black Forest" cuckoo's, but again nothing as nice as the excellent example you've been posting.
