My Childhood Toys

I had meant to go through my store room and repack for the last 2 years and only did it yesterday finally. I ended up with about 8 boxes which I had to go through and sort out, what stays and what goes. And look what I found!

These 2 childhood toys were from the early 1970s. The kitty was a home-made toy, my uncle's wife made it for me. I think my younger sister had a similar one in another fabric, probably remnant cloth from home-made clothes. The puppy in the pink basket is a mechanical toy, when you wind the key which is attached to the basket, the puppy barks and pops around. I should say "barked" because for the last 20+ years, he has lost his vocal cords, I don't ever remember him barking, he still makes a biting down action and he pops around. So he's not even all bark and no bite now!
