This is a very gorgeous piece! I just do not know what to think of it...age, use, origin etc. I found this at a local thrift store. The inside was completely gutted out but it does have intricate metal ventilation holes in the back along the top.
The fine detail on front doors are not glued on pieces but actually carved as one piece. The Door hinges are metal and appear to be handmade with star patterned type screws.
Only one door on bottom is made to open.
Does anyone know what this might have been used for or the era and possibly it's value?
