    This beautiful, cast stone planter has reliefs of what i think are cedar waxwings and flowering tree branches and bamboo plants on it. it weighs over 100 lbs empty. I think it's from the 1920s or possibly earlier. i'm interested in what others think. i think it's really beautiful! i'm not sure what category this would go into, since cast stone isn't really ceramics, but it's close.

      thanks for the love folks. i'm thinking that this is more likely 1900-1915, because of the detail, the Japanese-inspired diagonal compositions, etc... i wonder where it was made too. any other opinions?
