An impulse buy from VOA this morning. I really don't know where it's from or how old it is. The lack of vibrant colors and the general simplicity of it are what appealed to me. It's 10 1/2" x 12" . The back is rough and unglazed. It really looks almost like pie crust dough. It's not really that heavy and very porous. The background photographed much whiter than it really is. It's more tan like the back. The glaze is crazed and it just looks old. No marks except for the crayon price which won't come off. If I have to guess I think it looks more Dutch than say Italy or even Mexico, which would have been very colorful. No chips or damage that I can see. -Mike-

Thanks Tony, I don't know how special it is,but maybe someone will know. I love the piece you posted as well. That mark seems familiar and has got me curious. I'll be checking around to see if I can ID it for you. -Mike-
