    This is a sextant. It was my great-grandpas. He got it from a yard sale, I think. Does anyone know anything else about it? Year, how to find the maker, or any other history?

      I love pieces like this. Are there any markings on the sextant? Look very closely all over it.

      I FOUND A MARK ! It says D. Stalker.Leith. .

      Here is info on David Stalker who had a shop in Leith. I think you'll find it helpful in dating your sextant.
