Two boxes of 45 caliber ammo from 1944? No dates on box . one still sealed. Evansville box contains rounds that are not brass. Found at St Marys College when they were cleaning out their basement and was selling everything to get rid of it. There was so much old stuff there that you would not believe !!!ww2 stuff, old electrical items, old scientific apparatus. All antique door hardware. You had to wade thru it.
A co-worker who had knowledge of the event and I went there and loaded up my pickup. He had only a compact car He got some very valuable stuff. They sold it by the pallet.

Boy, I sure emptied a lot of those boxes way back when. All that stuff after WWII was super cheap! Didn't have to worry about reloading .45, 30-06, .30 carbine & 9 m/m for many years.
