I am trying to identify this German Beer Stein that has been in my family for well over 60 years. The name Alexander Breyer Brauer or Alexander Bareycer is engraved on the inside of the lid in handwritten engraving along with a phrase in German. This was passed down from my father who really couldn't tell me much about except that it had belonged to my grandfather, a sailor in the US Navy and a retired PanAm pilot. Anyone with any information about this stein please contact me at rsbeau5@gmail.com. Thanks. We also have a smaller stein that we are trying to learn more about as well. I am interested on the value as they have just been passed down with no real information.

What exactly are you trying to find out about it? The wording at the bottom of the lid means beer brewery. Those are the only words I can make out. Is there a maker's mark on the bottom?
