Got this chinese porcelain wall plaque at the thrift store for $10
very thick and heavy!
Does anybody know more about these kind of tiles/plaques?

I am not an expert, but I will offer some opinions.
I think the tile originates from Delft Holland (Netherlands). It is a European view of how China would have looked.
My best guess is that it dates from the 1700 -1800s.
I have never seen a tiles with this edge shape before, usually they are just square.
The wire on the back for hanging on a wall indicates that someone really valued this item.
I would suggest that you take this to an auction house that deals with fine antiques. You might find that it is valuable.
    I wish you good luck
