Here's a group of 50's-70's copper w/ brass, silver and wood I've collected and enjoyed for quite awhile. I wear some of them often. I also have some wonderful copper bands too that I wear w/as ring "keepers" so I don't lose these- but they are fairly simple so I didn't include in this post.
In picture 2 the ebony or mahogany wood on my ring finger is marked "12k GF shank" I wear this one a lot. It's about 1-3/8" long x .75" wide to give you scale for the other rings. Next to it is a fabulous marked M WS handmade. The shank is same sterling rail. I also wear the one on my pinky - some type of porous wood - carved with 6 thin copper wires inlaid. Maybe it shows up better in picture 3. I LOVE this one - someone made this in woodworking class maybe!
Also of note - the rose one - marked M. I. W.Germany - there you go - sometime after WWII but before 1989. Probably 50's-60's. It is a single cut shape wrapped to be adjustable and the stylized flower attached - welded not glued.
They don't turn my fingers green - but I rarely wear them if it's steamy hot. Anyway - just something Fall-like to show you on this beautiful Fall day. Hope you enjoy - Val
