Man's ring from 1940's? gold-filled w/beautiful intaglio Roman soldier and woman. Maybe it isn't carnelian - but it was carved from one piece - nothing glued on top of another layer. And the back shows open setting. Allows light to come thru. The ring is a size 8 and about 3/4" by 5/8" - definitely a man's ring. Sadly....it is not solid gold. The wear inside and the mark says 1/30 14k and then gold....tiny I can't read it maybe it says shank?
I love this ring and wear it w/some other large men's rings. Any information is appreciated - thank you for looking.
