This vase is from The Jones Museum of Glass and Ceramics located in Maine which is now closed. I acquired the vase a few years ago when the Dorothy Lee Jones collection was offered at auction.
Blown of satin cased glass. Interior is opaque white. Exterior is blue with silver mica inclusions in a Herringbone pattern covered with another layer of colorless satin glass. There are two applied crystal satin thorn handles to complete this curvilinear shaped vase. Rim is cut and there is no pontil on the base.
7" tall with a 2" diameter rim.
(fig.4) NEAGC, is presumed it would stand for the New England American Glass Company. Not sure how true the acronym on the sticker label is and always thought it could be Bohemian. Any information is always appreciated.
