Welz was already winding down production when (I believe) these were made, Cir. 1925-33'. These shapes have a simple foot and waist but a complex tooled rim. The production is a mystery to me since they appear to have great symmetry without the benefit of a pontil to hold the piece rigid.

Austro, thank you for approval, great piece! If is ever up for grabs give me a heads up. These pics are invaluable in showing glass families had distinct maker or similarities to other makers. Thank you Craig, your post is exactly the research we need to help appreciate the glass. Yes mac you are right, that flashed piece is the same (or similar) in decor to the iris piece. But also the cream one with oxblood confetti at the base... The orange one with black confetti and especially the orange confetti with black confetti pull-up- kralik and ruckl had very similar colors patterns and finishes. Thanx all more of these umbrella shapes to come...

One thing that Jitka mentioned is that many of the workers from the south bohemian region at some point moved to Tepliz to work for Welz. Maybe it was the economy, mergers or marriage - but it is likely that when one factory closed tradesmen migrated for work and with them their methods.
although the three pieces to me still look like Welz.
Reasons:
1. the top right has confetti similar to kralik but the rim is too thin for a kralik applied rim
2. the pull outs have that spiney tool that other Welz decors come in
3. the foot and weight is the same as other welz pieces
4. kralik is thicker welz is thinner
5. many Welz baskets, vases and even candy dishes have a rough ground pontil.
6. both the honeycomb pieces contain adventurine on the foot- a sign of welz is green adventurine glass
7. the vanilla piece on the right has the same colors as labelled Welz pieces (but Kralik makes the same decor, minus the black rim
thanx for the lively discussion you might be right about kralik tho... for me 90% Welz
haha... there are many similarities between those two. i mistakenly thought those cream based pieces with the oxblood confetti were kralik too- turns out the very same decor was interpreted by two (probably friendly) competitors
I appreciate your honest commitment to this glass Craig. just like the scalloped fan vases.... they may be bland as one example but put into a grouping of four or five they show their best. how could something so whimsical (organically shaped) be so consistent in weight, shape, and size?
