My son has a show and tell project about old communication devices. My father gave this to him to take to school. Can anyone tell me where it may have been used such as in a home or business, and what years it would have been used early 1900's or later like the 20's or 30's. I'd appreciate any help you could give.

Your wall phone looks to be manufactured by Kellogg Switchboard and Supply Co. Chicago, Ill around 1928. This type of phone was used on farms or rural area. You still had to call a switchboard operator by turning the magneto handle on the right side of the box and the operator in turn would connect you to another town or local station.
