Very unique ! The animals look like one's I got from Africa and I am thinking they put them all in table . Are they set in lucite ? I would say homemade very decorative table ! Love it ! Just a guess :-)

There are some truly fine Haitian artist & it is their style to paint & sculpture animals (mostly African) that do live in their country. This has the look of one of their best & the wood looks like it may be Lignum Vitae which their better works are done in. Sans the glass, is the wood extremely heavy & hard as hell? This is extremely well done, especially using the different colours of the grain for highlighting the eyes etc.. You have a beautiful piece by the pics, even with the glass glare.

The were hand carved on the spot or perhaps a small woodshop. Google: vintage filipino wood carvings, then click images. I found your elephant, I'm sure the rest are some where amongst! Nice collection! =)
