This is a very beautiful and interesting piece as you can see the price was right. I don't speak or read Spanish very well or could this be a Native American piece , but from what little I can decipher it seems to be a ritual protection chant on back of the board and the symbols that protect the corn harvest on the front. The stitch work is fabulous along with the bright colors of the corn stalks and the other two symbols and designs I'm not sure what the other two symbols represent ,but the first image looks like a locust to me . Just a wonderful piece of art!
