    I'm trying to identify the maker of this brooch. It is gold tone with faux turquoise, faux pearls, and rhinestones. It measures 2" across and is signed AV©. It seems to be of rather good quality as costume jewelry goes.

      I looked up my reference lists, and didn't come up with anything... Then I thought maybe Adrienne Vittadini . Or Avon?

      I thought maybe Avon too, but as far as I can tell they never used just the AV. I wonder how long Adrienne Vittadini has been around? This looks late 60s to me.

      A.V © is also sometimes used as a hallmark on jewelry from Avellino, Italy
