So glad you all like the jewelry! I could talk about it all day long (and sometimes do at jewelry shows)! It IS a magnificent art and every time I travel there I am still in AWE of how much work goes into each piece. The sterling silver wire is about a 31 gauge so it is VERY thin. All the enameled areas are outlined in a wire and then the enamel powders are filled in and fired at 1500?F to form brilliantly colored glass. The various gemstones I bring to them are then set and the piece is 24kt gold plated.
The time required and the patience is inspiring! The rings, earrings and pendants require two women, a filigree artisan and an enameler, anywhere from 3 to 7 days per piece. All the bracelets require 2 weeks of labor for each one! Truly a labor of love.
The blue topaz earring/pendant set is a fabulous example of their excellent enameling skills. The bracelet is about a 1" wide hinged cuff with some enamel and Black Star of India gemstones. Check out how beautiful the back is finished well as the front! My fun piece next is the topaz poison ring! The lid opens (my niece puts her tic tacs in there LOL). Finally one of my favorite earrings which are about 2.5" long and have rubies, emeralds and amethysts complimented by swirls of enamel.

So where in the USA can we buy some for our collections?

Thank for all the kudos, everyone!! To answer your question Davyd286, you can go to a great web site, http://www.DesignerJewelryHandmade.com that shows the photos of the women making it and they do have pieces for sale there. As I mentioned previously there are no more in production, but there are some out there on web sites for sale as my main business was selling to art galleries, museums, and stores internationaly.
