thanks all-i remember the news flash that came over the tv about 9pm on thursday november 21st 1974-i heard all the sirens on the abulances going into town , i was living in hall green with parents at the time-about 5 miles from city centre-21 were killed-see google '1974 pub bombs in birmingham'
bbc 1 showing special programme on the ira bombings next thursday 21st november at 9pm as this year exactly matches birmingham pub bombs that occured on same day/date namely thursday 21st november 1974 at 8.30pm
