I received this Hawkes cut glass lamp from my grandmother and have not been able to find any information on it. Also, I would like to resilver the upper part of the base but I haven't been able to find a way to detach the metal part from the glass. Any information on this would be most appreciated.

What a nice grandma! The pattern is called "Radiant" Please do not mess with it, leave it as found. The pieces do not come apart. This is a great lamp! Congratulations! From around 1905 give or take.
